Library Aide - Part-time Permanent
The Glasgow City-County Library is seeking a temporary, part-time Library Aide to work.
Applicants must be friendly, helpful, creative, and a good communicator.
The main focus of the position is to assist the library staff and the director with various projects and programs for people of all ages.
The position also requires some physical lifting, able to move up and down stairs and to safely climb ladders.
Must have good computer skills and an exceptional understanding of different mobile devices to be comfortable assisting patrons on devices and public computers.
Other job duties include but are not limited to working at the circulation desk, fulfilling patron requests, shelving books, handling returns, assisting with various events, answering phones, faxing, scanning documents, using the copy machine, computer work, and other duties as assigned.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver?s license Schedule:
This is a part-time position.
Hours are flexible between 10-25 hours per week, with some nights and Saturdays.
